Tuesday, April 16, 2019 S: 16:00. Full Festival Schedule. #13 Irish Open Ladies powered by Poker League of Nations. Bustling 21-Event Irish Poker Masters Schedule. It isn’t only the Irish Poker Masters Main Event to play, there are 21 different events for you to get your teeth into. These include a Hold’em, Omaha, PKOs, Heads-Up, High Rollers, and Turbo events. There’s event a €109 Mini Main Event with €100,000 guaranteed. The International Poker Open Dublin 2017 takes place in the Bonnington Hotel, Swords Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9, Ireland. The IPO is one of Europe’s longest running and favourite poker tournaments with an estimated prize-pool of €250,000.
Thirty-two events are scheduled across a week of poker, Guinness and that famous Irish craic. The Main Event keeps both its €1,150 buy-in and its €1 million guarantee, but we would be extremely surprised to not see the prize pool climb near €2 million.
This is because the 2019 edition attracted 1,807 players to it and they created a €1,805,870 prize pool shared among the top 223 finishers. Among those who reached the money in the 2019 Irish Poker Open Main Event included Keith Johnson, Tim Farrelly, Paul Berende, Andrew Sweeney, Ronan Sweeney, former champion Ian Simpson, another former champ in Patrick Clarke, Niall Farrell, Sean Prendiville, and Max Silver.
Weijie Zheng took down the Main Event for €300,000, only their fourth recorded live poker score and they haven’t cashed in an even since!

Credit to Nick O’Hara, his team, all the dealers and blogger Willie Elliot who all burned the midnight oil to make sure this was once again the highlight of the Irish poker calendar. I know Unibet Poker are very proud sponsors of the event and it was great to see the weekly satellites smash their guarantee every Sunday on Unibet Poker.
“I’m gutted to have bust just short of the Final Table but nonetheless I had a fantastic weekend with Dara and Ian in the Bonnington. Next Stop: Unibet Open Paris at the end of November. I can’t wait!”
